Movie screenings 8pm
Canberra's largest and longest running film society, the ANU Film Group, is kicking off it's new programme from Wednesday 21st July. Movies include classics, foreign and the latest blockbusters and are held up to 4 times a week. Membership of the group only $35 and is open to everyone. While the cost is low, the quality definitely isn't. The theatre is equipped with a full cinema sized screen and dolby surround sound. Jeans for Genes Day, born and bred in Australia, has grown to become one of our most important national fundraising days. Your support is hugely valued by the scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute, as they unravel the mysteries of childhood diseases. We are asking all Australians to wear their jeans proudly and donate a gold coin on Friday August 6. Get your workplace, school or community involved simply register at www.jeansforgenes.org.au/register or contact us on 1800 GENIES (436 437)
