MAKING MUSIC
Walk through the Gardens to discover natural materials for musical instruments and try making music sticks or shakers. (suitable for children aged 3 – 10, parent supervision required)

Showstoppers takes on a theatrical format exploring 5 stories from the Bible.
The hall will be set up as a theatre with a … booking office, red carpet, hall of fame, stage door & stars dressing rooms.
Look out for the … stage manager, drama troupe, director & music pit
There will be a serial drama each day titled “Search for a Star”.

A free Education and Careers Evening is being held between 4 and 6pm on Monday 5 July at Geoscience Australia’s building in Symonston, ACT.
The evening will be a great opportunity for young people, teachers, parents and members of the public to discover the career options and study pathways available in the earth sciences.
Entry is free and activities will include:
• Short talks from a range of earth scientists about their career pathways and current jobs.
• Displays showcasing current careers and educational opportunities in the earth sciences.
• Tours of the Australian Tsunami Warning Centre and the SHRIMP laboratory.
