The Zonta Club of Canberra Breakfast (ZCCB) is holding its Pre-Loved Designer & Vintage Women’s Fashion Sale on Saturday 6th March.

Southern Oceania Probikx/ Champbikx BMX Series 10am to 12 pm

5 & 6 March 2010 in the lead up to the ACT BMX State Championships, ACT BMX will host Rounds 5 and 6 of the Southern Oceania Probikx/ Champbikx BMX Series. Round 6 at the Canberra BMX Club, Copland Drive Melba.

(This is the Supercross of BMX where the Probikx Series caters for Elite and Junior Elite athletes and the attached Champbikx Series is for rising stars in the 14, 15 and 16 year age categories)

Jared Graves Olympic finalist and current World Mountain Bike Champion joins Kama Kazi who took lengthy breaks from BMX after the 2008 Beijing Olympics have both made a dynamic return to BMX in this Series, with Graves winning two Rounds at Nerang in early January. They will join fellow Olympic team member Luke Madill and young gun Sam Willoughby who is the current 2009 World Junior Elite Champion to produce World Class BMX action at this event. In the Elite Ladies, we have World No.1 Mountain Biker, National Team Member and Canberra local Caroline Buchanan who is racing strongly and presently one of the leaders in the Australian leg of this Series.

In Junior Elite, Ryan Henderson from the Tuggeranong Vikings BMX Club is looking to use his home track advantage to gain a podium finish in these rounds. In Champbikx, Canberra will be represented by Harriet Burbidge Smith who will be competing in the 14 year old female class. Harriet finished 2nd in both of the early rounds and looking for one place better on her local tracks.

A not for profit op shop with quality pre-loved clothing, manchester, bric-a-brac, books, plants, toys and small household goods for sale in the church hall.

This is held on the first Saturday of every month except for January at Calvary Chapel UPC located on the corner of Maclaurin Cr and Plunkett St in Chifley ACT 2606.

Canberra Philharmonic Society proudly presents - JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.  8.00pm

The second musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, audiences will find themselves tapping their feet to the disco, western, 1920's Charleston, Caribbean and Elvis-inspired songs. The show is based on the 'Coat of Many Colours' story of the Book of Genesis and tells the story of Joseph who, through the jealousy of his brothers due to his ownership of a coat given to him by his father, is sold to the Ishmaelites. As the show progresses, he moves from being held in slavery to becoming the most powerful man in Egypt second only to the Pharaoh.

With a cast of over 70 adults and children, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat boasts an array of Canberra's talented singers and dancers.

Canberra Festival Balloon Spectacular 

Hot air, hot entertainment and hot breakfast returns to the Lawns of Old Parliament House as part of the 2010 Canberra Festival.

PWA LIVE PRO WRESTLING 6:30pm-9:00pm

PWA returns to the Woden Tradies for the first time in 2010. Local wrestlers such as Mikey Broderick and Crofty will be taking part in a tournament to crown a new PWA National Champion. This will be a fun, action packed night for the whole family.
