How many uber celebs could actually rise above a mortifying fall with dignity, humour and style? One, we’d say!

Imagine winning the highest honour in your industry and then slipping on your skirt in front of a room full of your peers and a world full of celeb obsessed fans hungry for something to laugh at.

Jennifer Lawrence showed us just how incredibly grounded she is in her reaction to THE fall. The Oscar winning actress climbed the final stairs to the stage with a visibly embarrassed smile, and immediately made a joke of the fall

She may not be showing any side boob, but for poor old Jen, this seems to be her second wardrobe malfunction this award season! Well at least it’s because she keeps winning!!

After winning the prestigious award, Jennifer was hilarious and down to earth as she joked with the press about the hoopla that surrounds the day,

"The process today was so stressful. I felt like Steve Martin in Father of the Bride watching my house just be torn apart, and my whole family was getting ready”

When asked what went through her mind when she actually fell, the 22 year old, without missing a beat, shot back with,

"What went through my mind when I fell down? A bad word that I can't say that starts with 'f'."

This was to the great amusement of the press who, getting the hang of Jen’s light-heartedness, began to joke back with the star.

2013 is already jam-packed with the actress’ work – with three films scheduled for release, including the next instalment of the hugely popular The Hunger Games series. We say congrats Jen, not just for winning, but for handling yourself beautifully! You rock!
