I'm originally from Sydney but come from an Afghan background which makes life that much more interesting! I don't pay, don't queue and don't name drop (ok only sometimes). I've always loved pop culture and am obsessed with what’s happening in the world of celebrities which brought me to the glitz and glamour of radio! I’m an awkward person and sometimes find myself in dramatic situations. There's never a dull moment!

I did a Diploma of Radio Broadcasting at the Australian Film Television Radio School, A diploma of Business Marketing and a Bachelor of Communications Degree (which is almosttttt finished) .I was lucky enough to work at 2Dayfm in Sydney as part of the Street Team and in the Newsroom for over a year. I felt very fortunate to work with some of my idols and people i grew up listening to.

Hobbies: Not sure if this is a hobby but i can speak 6 languages – English, Persian, Urdu, Hindi, Dari and Pashto. And I can also speak pig latin – does that count?
